CORRECTIONS OFFICER—Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is seeking candidates to add to an eligibility list for our Corrections Division. A wide variety of tasks are connected with operation of the jail. Work involves operation of the jail, safety and security of the prisoners, receipt and accurate transmission of jail radio, telephone, and various clerical functions in the jail. Minimum Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent, Valid Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications: WI Jailer Certification is preferred but not required at hire. You will have to successfully complete this certification within one year of hire. Starting wage is $21.66/hr, plus excellent fringe benefits.
