The Momence Police Department is currently in search of high-quality and dynamic Illinois state certified police officers.

This posting is for the immediate hiring of part-time officers and has the potential for full-time in the very near future. (You must be a state certified police officer to apply for this position)

Requirements:

• Applicants must have completed the state of Illinois certified police officer training board requirements.
• Be a US citizen
• Be a high school graduate or possess a G.E.D. equivalent
• Possess a valid State of Illinois driver's license
• Applicants must agree to comply with all requirements of the position and have the ability to pass all examination and training requirements, including, but not limited to:
• Complete background investigation
• Psychological Medical examination, etc.
• No felony or certain misdemeanor convictions/arrests.
• To ensure only the highest quality applicants are offered employment, an extremely comprehensive pre-employment background investigation will be conducted.
• Applicants must disclose all previous law enforcement employers and employment history completely and accurately.
