We are seeking Security Guards for the 2025 NC Mountain State Fair that begins on Friday, September 5, 2025, and ends on Sunday, September 14, 2025. If you enjoy people, working in a fast-paced environment, could use a little extra cash, and being part of a team essential to a safe and fun event, we need you!
The Fair is held at the Davis Event Center - 765 Boylston Hwy, Fletcher, NC 28732.

- Basic knowledge of the standard safety, surveillance and security practices and equipment.
- Ability to patrol, monitor, and guard assigned area.
- Ability to respond quickly and properly in emergency situations.
- Ability to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and general public to provide assistance and relay information.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
May require the ability to complete emergency medical technician (EMT) training and meet re-certification standards as required.
