Position Details

The Village of Orland Hills is accepting applications for certified Part-Time Police Officers.

The applicant will perform duties to include, but not limited to:

• Enforce traffic and criminal laws, along with local ordinances
• Supplement full-time staffing
• Be available for court
• Be available to work varied shifts, weekends and some holidays

Minimum qualifications to include:

• At least 21 years of age
• Must possess either a full-time or part-time certification
• U.S. citizen
• Valid drivers license and FOID
• No felony convictions
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Pass an oral interview
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screen
