Candidates must:
Be a United States Citizen
Possess a vaild driver's license
Be of good moral character as determined by a background investigation
Be free of any physical, emotional, or mental conditions which would adversely affect the performance of the duties of a police officer as determined by a complete medical examination and psychological testing.
Pass a health based physical fitness assessment (Unless already certified as Peace Officer)
