As a Records Specialist Supervisor, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of inmate records. You will oversee a team of subordinate staff, managing their work assignments and providing training and support to ensure timely and accurate completion. Your responsibilities will also include collecting information from various sources and cross-referencing it with different databases to validate the accuracy of inmate records. Additionally, you will be involved in conducting interviews, taking photographs and fingerprints, and coordinating arrangements for inmate transport to court appearances or for release from their current sentence. As a supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of inmate records and ensuring the proper handling of sensitive information.

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $51,971.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Corrections Records Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience as a Records Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of clerical or correctional custodial experience that includes two years of specialized records work in a correctional facility; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of specialized records work experience in a correctional facility.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
