Position Details

CERTIFIED FULL or PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER

The Oakwood Hills Police Department is seeking experienced Illinois state certified Police Officers interested in Full or Part-Time employment.

Officer must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates selected must first meet all the following criteria:

1. 21 years of age.
2. High school graduate (or equivalent).
3. Valid Driver's License.
4. Valid Illinois Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card.
5. Must have no felony convictions and be of good moral character as described in State Statute 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6.
6. Mentally and physically able to perform the tasks of the job.
7. Able to pass a drug screening.
8. Must have successfully completed an Illinois Basic Law Enforcement Training course or another program approved for a waiver by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
