The West Dundee, Illinois Board of Fire and Police Commission is accepting applications for the position of police officer with the West Dundee Police Department.

Basic Requirements:

• Certified police officer in the State of Illinois
• Two years experience as a full-time sworn officer with an Illinois police agency
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pre-employment screening includes:
• background investigation
• review of past and current performance evaluations
• interview
• polygraph
• psychological exam
• medical exam
• drug screening
• Lateral transfer candidates are NOT required to obtain a P.O.W.E.R. test card
• Lateral transfer candidates are NOT required to take the written exam
• Lateral transfer candidates ARE REQUIRED to participate in the oral interview process
