A bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral science courses and experience in probation and parole work. An associate’s degree and two (2) years of military or certified law enforcement experience (to include Class 1 or Offender Supervision Specialist experience) may be substituted; or a high school diploma and four (4) years of military or certified law enforcement experience (to include Class 1 or Offender Supervision Specialist experience) may be substituted.
A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology, education, counseling or other social/behavior sciences or a bachelor's degree which includes at least 15 credit hours in the aforementioned disciplines and completion of three (3) year’s experience in criminal justice, counseling, or related professional human service work. A regular volunteer and participant in deployments and other special operational events.
