Description Performs police related support functions as assigned. This is a part-time entry-level, non-sworn, uniformed position consisting of 29 hours per week.

Pay Range: $25.99/hour - $34.24/hour
Expected Hiring Range: $25.99/hour - $28.11/hour
  • Investigate non-crime ordinance violations.
  • Assist sworn police staff.
  • Maintain effective community relations and represent the City with the community.
  • Assist police personnel with work orders.
  • Perform delivery and retrieval duties associated with packages, evidence, forfeited items, court documents, and other deliveries and retrievals as assigned.
  • Assist with minor traffic matters, including assisting motorists, and monitoring traffic law compliance in assigned areas.
  • Perform support tasks including filing, data entry, data retrieval, telephone answering, and other duties as assigned.
  • Within two years of completing a post-secondary degree from an accredited college (e.g. associate degree or higher); or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must possess a valid and unrestricted Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation, physical examination, and psychological evaluation.
