The Springfield Police Department, in Southeast Colorado, is currently looking for potential applicants for the position of Chief of Police. The position is open until filled, however, hoping to fill the spot prior to July 1st, 2024.
Up to $90,000 dollars annual pay, depending on qualifications.
Colorado POST certified, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
The department consists of; Chief of Police, Sgt/Cpl, 2 Officers, and an administrative assistant.
This is a working Chief position, as the Chief of Police must also respond to calls for service.
