Position Details

The Villa Park Police Department is seeking experienced state-certified Police Officers interested in Part-Time employment.

Job Duties:

• Respond to calls for service
• Enforce traffic laws, criminal laws, and local ordinances
• Provide emergency response as needed
• Traffic control and security at public events
• Write accurate reports
• Attend court as needed
• Prisoner transports
• Handle other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Illinois certified police officer (academy trained)
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and afternoon/night shifts
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• U.S. Citizen
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver's License
• No felony or misdemeanor conviction as identified in the Illinois Police Training Act
• Pass:
