This is supervisory work of residents at the Neaves Davis Center for Children. The employee is responsible for overseeing all activities of the residents at the center as well as ensuring that all documentation in daily logbooks is legible and correct. Work involves supervising residents on any given shift, including daily activities, recreational periods, school, personal cleanliness, and other periods as scheduled. Employee observes the behavior of, counsels with, and provides information about residents detained. Person in this classification must be able to preserve order and deal with disciplinary problems if required.
The Neaves Davis Center is a 24-hour facility.
