The City of Wylie Animal Services division is seeking Animal Services Officers who would carry out tasks required to enforce animal and rabies control ordinances and policies and licensing permit requirements.Supervision is provided by the Lead Animal Services Officer.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License. Must have Texas Driver's License within 60 days of hire. Driving record must be satisfactory according to City of Wylie Personnel Rules and Regulations; driving record from DPS required. Ability to obtain certification by the Texas Department of Health as certified basic Animal Services Officer within one year of employment. Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) training courses as outlined by Emergency Management after hire.
