The Willow Springs, Illinois, Board of Police Commissioners is currently accepting applications for Entry Level Police Officers to establish an eligibility list for full-time Police Officers.
The Board of Police Commissioners will conduct an examination for the position of Entry Level Police Officer on September 9, 2025 at:
Village of Willow Springs – Village Hall
1 Village Circle
Willow Springs, IL 60480
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Valid Driver's License
- High School graduate or GED, possess an Associate Degree in the field of law enforcement, or have at least thirty (30) minimum educational credits hours from an accredited college or university.
- No felony convictions
- If hired, must be physically fit to pass the POWER test upon entering an Illinois Police Academy
- At least 20 years of age at the time of application and under 35 years of age as of date of written exam, unless otherwise exempt by Statute.
- Every applicant must be of good moral character, of temperate habits, of sound heath and must be physically able to perform the duties of the position of Police Officer.
