The Work
The Learning Content Team is responsible for the creation and development of all learning and training content across all Lexipol vertical academies, including PoliceOne, Corrections1, FireRescue1, EMS1, Dispatch1, and Local Government University. Learning content consists of a variety of course types: single video courses, training blocks, and full-length courses. Our team develops eLearning with the help of subject matter experts and is vetted for policy consistency by our policy and legal teams. Courses are developed based on nationwide standards and best practices while also incorporating state and federal laws and regulations where appropriate. This position is remote.
Our courses are also certified and accredited through certified training providers (20 states) and accepted for continuing education credits in 23 states. Several of our courses in the library are also approved by the International Association of Director of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) National Certification Program (NCP). This role will report to the Credentialing and Accreditation Manager.
The Learning Accreditation & Reporting Specialist role is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of learning certification and accreditation programs, to enhance the value of Lexipol learning offerings. The individual will manage the course accreditation process, deliver detailed reports, and develop and own relationships with key personnel at each accreditation entity. The Learning Accreditation & Reporting Specialist will manage the accreditation and re-certification process for our Online Learning divisions and library of training content. Additionally, they will be responsible for all data management and data programming for each respective Online Learning division.
The work of the Learning Accreditation & Reporting Specialist is done through working in these areas of focus:
Accreditation Process Management (40%)
Manage the accreditation and re-certification process for our Online Learning divisions and library of training content (1000+ course offerings)
Govern and control processing, reviewing, and tracking of applications for accreditation
Submit required reports, documents, and forms pursuant to applicable regulations and in accordance with state or entity policy/procedure
Relationship Management (20%)
Develop and own relationships with Executive Leaders and key personnel at each accreditation entity
Work to establish expanded reporting relationships to enhance the value of our offering
Operational Management and Documentation (20%)
Manage, maintain, and update detailed standard operating processes for all accreditation entities
Program and manage all accreditation and certification data into our Learning Management System
Communication and Reporting (10%)
Deliver detailed reports in accordance with each accreditation entity
Communicate to the team on any related breakthroughs or challenges on credentialing and credentialing reporting issues and how to solve
Misc. (10%):
Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Credentialing and Accreditation Manager.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:
Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience with reporting, or data analysis research/programming required
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or SaaS preferred
Government, public safety market, or direct accreditation experience preferred
Ability to accurately program and manage a wide range of data
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized with proven experience reporting and managing processes
Ability to develop, nurture, and maintain executive level relationships with key partners
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, or similar software

Target Outcomes/Target Results
Timely and Accurate Reporting
: Ensure that all course completions are reported accurately and on time to the relevant certifying bodies across all verticals (Police, Corrections, Fire, EMS, Dispatch, Local Government). This includes maintaining a consistent record of error-free submissions and promptly resolving any issues that arise.
Process Optimization and Documentation:
Develop and implement efficient and scalable processes for certification and accreditation management, ensuring these processes are well-documented, easily accessible, and consistently followed. This also includes proactively identifying gaps in the certification library and implementing control measures to address them.
Compliance and Audit Readiness:
Ensure that all accreditation processes and documentation are in full compliance with state and federal regulations, and that the organization is always audit-ready. This includes maintaining an organized system for storing and retrieving accreditation-related documents and being prepared for audits with minimal notice.
Stakeholder Satisfaction:
Develop and implement a process to regularly gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders (e.g., accreditation bodies, executive leadership) to ensure that their needs are being met and that the accreditation process adds value to their objectives. Aim for a stakeholder satisfaction rate of 90% or higher within the first year.

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly or annual incentive, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company match and a flexible paid time off plan.
Compensation for this role is $57,000 plus an annual bonus.
